Pete The Cat
Script and Lyrics by Sarah Hammond Music by Will Aronson
First Stage Children's Theatre, Milwaukee, WI
The challenge: bring a beloved children's classic to life! Taking the lead from director Bree Beelow, we created a set with touches taken from many of the "Pete" books, and created a flexible VW Bus unit to take Pete and his pals around the world. Lighting incorporated into the set by Jason Fassl made Pete's sunglasses and ears express the moods of the script and punctuate the musical numbers.
